QA Engineer (Onsite) at TOV Furniture

This job is onsite in our Islamabad office Join the vibrant TOV Furniture team as QA Engineer! In this role, youll have a direct impact on our customer experience and have the ability to bring your IT experience to the next level. Your tasks will include the following:ResponsibilitiesDesign, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Build and optimize automated testing frameworks.Test APIs and backend services for reliability and performance.Document and track bugs, working with developers to ensure timely resolution.Contribute to QA best practices, improving processes and efficiency.Explore and implementAI-enabled toolsto accelerate testing and improve accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.Test core e-commerce flows (checkout, cart, product pages, account creation, and order management).Cross-device cross-browser testing (desktop, tablet, mobile especially Safari/iOS).Accessibility testing to ensure WCAG compliance.QualificationsStrong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Hands-on experience withmanual testingand exposure to software development.Experience withautomated testing tools(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).Programming/scripting knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).Familiarity withAPI testing tools(e.g., Postman, RestAssured).Good understanding of thesoftware development life cycle (SDLC).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across distributed teams.Open-minded, with a willingness to adopt and leverageAI-enabled tools.Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.Hands-on Shopify or other e-commerce platform experience.Experience with cross-browser/device testing tools (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).Understanding of web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse).
