Job PurposeThis role forms part of Mashreqs Network Services team and assists with the administration and management of network platform for Pakistan MGN COE users at onsite and Work from home setup.Duties control administration, maintaining system documentation, tuning, and troubleshooting system performance.Enabling service for the business operations. Backup recovery administration. Ensuring smooth operation of all network systems and enabling user requests.Key Result AreasDemonstrable Network Engineering experience achieved in an enterprise, complex technology environmentSignificant background in core networking fundamentals – route switch, datacenter, enterprise, and campus network topologies.Excellent technical knowledge in Routing and Switching TechnologiesExcellent technical knowledge in links connectivityVendor agnostic approach with demonstrable experience of software-defined networks, network automationWorking with the vendors and suppliers that provide staff outsourcing, network equipment, hardware support, software, and leased carrier services in concert with internal procurement and contract areas.Assisting with the enhancement of the network in accordance with the ICT strategic plan, in alignment with the business objectives of the organization.Assisting with the creation of documentation appropriate for use by the management team and both internal and external auditorsMaximum uptime of IT network Infrastructure meeting the SLA.Administration maintenance of Banks IT network Infrastructure.Compliance to Mashreq Information security policies adherence to security baselines.Strong Technical writing.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceTechnical Skills:-1. At least 5 years of experience in enterprise level IT Network infrastructure. Banking domain preferred.2. Excellent technical knowledge in Routing and Switching Technologies, cloud networking, SDN, SDWAN, SD Access.3. Expert knowledge and experience on WAN routing. (BGP,OSPF, DMVPN,IPSEC, GRE)4. Hands on experience on design and architecting network setup5. Deep troubleshooting knowledge and experience. Hands-on on Wireshark.6. Core knowledge on TCP/IP7. Hands-on experience on end point network security. (dot1x, NAC, port security, ISE, ARP inspection etc.)8. Working knowledge on SolarWinds, PRTG network tools.9. Sound understanding and knowledge on firewalling technologies.10. Experience in supporting IP Telephony.11. CCNP certifications is a must.12. Ability to understand and work in a multicultural environment.13. An excellent understanding of team dynamics.14.
