The ideal candidate will haveat least 4-5 years of relevant experienceand will support the creation of our Industrial Internet of Things solution.A key requirement for this role isexperience in automation of both UI and APIsto reduce regression test cycle times.Key ResponsibilitiesTest web and mobile platforms across client/server environments and multiple devices.Review SRS documents and process models.Participate in Specifications Review, Test Planning, Creation and Execution of Test Cases, Defect Reporting, and Defect Verification.Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support delivery.Apply different testing types: Functional, Integration, System, Compatibility, Regression, Smoke/Sanity, and Ad-hoc Testing.Use bug reporting and tracking tools such as TFS/Jira.Write SQL queries and use query tools for validation and data testing.RequirementsDegree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering4-5 years of full system development lifecycle experienceExperience in QA/Test strategy, defect lifecycle, and release managementIndustry experience testing Web and mobile-based applicationsFamiliarity with automation tools:Postman (API testing)Selenium (UI testing)Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamDevelopment experienceFamiliarity with test automation ThingTrax Quality Assurance Engineer at least 4-5 years of relevant experience experience in automation of both UI and APIs
