Supply Chain Trainee at Lucky Core Industries | Karāchi

Responsibilities:Support the Supply Chain Manager in coordinating logistics (import, Exports, inbound Outbound), packaging, vendor follow-ups, and stakeholder Management.Assist in logistics strategy for PTA imports and Soda Ash exports, ensuring cost efficiency, timely deliveries within defined transit times (25 days for exports, 40 days for imports), and eliminating dead freight or cargo detention by helping track shipments and reporting any delays to the Manager.Learn about cost management in Packaging , imports exports, including freight, clearance, and transportation expenses, and support initiatives to avoid unnecessary costs such as cargo detention or delays.Provide support in preparing all documentation, vendor invoicing, coordinating with agents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.Assist in maintaining relationships with Packaging vendors, logistics partners, shipping lines and freight forwarders, gaining exposure to negotiations and understanding how competitive rates are secured.Help in monitoring and updating shipment records, inventory movements, and export-related data for accurate tracking and reporting.Learn from market insights shared by the team to understand pricing, competitor strategies, and supply chain challenges in Import, exports, Transportation and packaging.Actively participate in team activities and projects to build knowledge of end-to-end export operations, while developing problem-solving and collaboration skills.Provide stakeholders with actionable intelligence on market trends, pricing, and competitor strategies to drive proactive and competitive supply chain decisionsRequirements:Bachelors degree required in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
