Functional Reporting:Head Internal AuditJob Responsibilities: Assist in developing the annual internal audit plan. Assist in developing audit programs and test plans to evaluate internal controls, processes, and compliance. Draft audit reports, including findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Communicate audit results and recommendations to Head Internal Audit. Collaborate with management to develop action plans to address identified issues. Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations that may impact the organization. Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Act as a point of contact for internal audit inquiries and provide guidance on internal control matters. Undertake additional assignments and responsibilities as directed by Head Internal Audit ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent in a related discipline with at least 4 years of relevant experience in internal audit, external audit, risk management, or compliance. Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), or equivalent and proficiency in audit software will be preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in financial institutions (Bank/DFI)Key Skills and Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of banking laws practice, Corporate Governance, Prudential Regulations of State Bank of Pakistan and international standards of audit. Proficiency in audit techniques and procedures, risk analysis and internal control evaluation. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with relevant regulatory and compliance standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
