The successful candidate will report to the Director, Finance. They will manage and coordinate all aspects of accounting and will be responsible for conducting high-level analysis of revenue, credit, expenses and overhead. If you are highly detail-oriented and capable of analyzing data with creativity and innovation in mind, we want to hear from you!What You’ll Be Working OnRecord day-to-day financial transactions and complete posting processes within Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)Review daily banking transactions and perform timely reconciliations with the General LedgerPrepare and review bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations, investigate variances, and post necessary adjustmentsPrepare journal entries for month-end close, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRSAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements within established deadlinesPerform analytical reviews, trial balance variance analysis, and assist with preparing monthly commentary and OPEX analysis reportsIdentify intercompany differences, investigate root causes, and communicate findings to local accounting teams for resolutionMaintain fixed asset registers, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposalsMaintain prepaid expense schedules and perform systematic monthly amortizationCalculate, reconcile, and monitor multi-country and multi-currency balancesPrepare and maintain documentation for vendor setup and ensure accurate and timely invoice processingMaintain accounting systems and reconciliation registers, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial recordsAssist with quarterly disclosure reporting, templates, and supporting schedulesGenerate and maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with IFRS and internal controlsSupport and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and documentation of accounting proceduresWork closely with the Director, Managers, Operations team, and other senior stakeholders to support financial and business requirementsRequirementsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar roleFinalist / Qualified Professional Accountant or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or business administrationKnowledge of multi-currency transactionsAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel, using excel vlookup and pivot tables in data analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsFamiliarity with GP an assetExciting Benefits We OfferMarket-leading SalaryMedical Coverage Se
