This role involves negotiating competitive rates, ensuring service level agreement (SLA) compliance, and driving strategic initiatives to expand network capacity.Key ResponsibilitiesRelationship Management:Act as the primary point of contact for carriers; foster long-term partnerships to ensure priority capacity.Sourcing Onboarding:Identify, vet, and recruit new carrier partners to meet business growth and seasonal demand.Service Delivery:Focuses on seamless connectivity and operational excellence, ensuring SLA commitments are consistently met.Negotiation:Conduct contract negotiations for transportation services, ensuring favorable terms, cost-effective rates, and legal compliance.Performance Monitoring:Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, incident rates, and billing accuracy.Process Improvement:Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and collaborate with internal teams to implement streamlined logistics workflows.Operational Oversight:Address daily service failures or disputes, managing escalations between carriers and internal stakeholders.Inventory Auditing:Perform site audits and physical inventories at carrier locations to ensure compliance with operational standards.Required QualificationsEducation:Bachelors degree in computer science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Technical Skills:Proficiency in ERPs like Oracle, and data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and JIRA.Essential SkillsStrategic Thinking:Ability to forecast demand and plan capacity requirements proactively.Communication:Exceptional verbal and written skills for negotiating and managing cross-functional relationships.Analytical Ability:Strong skills in data-driven decision-making and performance reporting.Problem-Solving:Critical-thinking skills to resolve logistical disruptions in a fast-paced environment. ibex, for one of its Global clients, is hiring.
