Job PurposeThe Management Trainee Officer (MTO) program is designed to develop future leaders ofU Microfinance Bankby providing rotational exposure across key functions includingFinance, IT, Operations, Risk, Marketing, and HR. Trainees will gain hands-on experience, build skills in banking operations, and contribute to organizational goals.Key Responsibilities1. Rotational Department ExposureParticipate in structured rotations across departments: Finance, IT, Operations, Risk, Marketing, and HRGain understanding of core banking, microfinance operations, and departmental workflowsSupport ongoing projects and day-to-day operations under supervision2. Finance AccountingAssist in financial record-keeping, budgeting, and reportingSupport branch and head-office reconciliationsHelp prepare regulatory and management reports3. Information TechnologySupport IT operations, system troubleshooting, and user assistanceAssist in maintaining core banking systems, networks, and IT infrastructureLearn about cybersecurity, data protection, and IT compliance4. Operations Risk ManagementSupport branch operations, loan processing, and customer service activitiesAssist in risk assessments, internal controls, and process improvement initiativesParticipate in monitoring and reporting of operational KPIs5. Marketing Customer EngagementAssist in marketing campaigns and customer outreach programsSupport development of promotional materials and digital initiativesParticipate in market research and competitor analysis6. Human Resources AdministrationAssist in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement activitiesSupport documentation, training programs, and policy implementation7. Project Reporting SupportParticipate in cross-functional projects and business improvement initiativesPrepare presentations, reports, and MIS for management reviewContribute innovative ideas to improve efficiency and service delivery8.
