Industry:Technical Equestrian Gloves ManufacturingDepartment:Quality AssuranceReports To:Head of Production / Director of OperationsJob Type:Full-Time On-SiteJob SummaryEuro Trend Group of Industries is seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer to ensure that all gloves produced meet our high standards of quality and exceed client expectations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product excellence across the full production process from raw material inspection to final packaging.Key Responsibilities1. Quality Planning Process ControlDevelop and implement quality control systems throughout the glove production cycle.Define and maintain checkpoints for cutting, stitching, bonding, trimming, finishing, and packaging.Create and update SOPs for all QC-related processes.2. Quality Monitoring ReportingPrepare daily QC inspection reports and defect analysis for management.Maintain non-conformance reports (NCRs) and analyze trends.Ensure ongoing compliance with client specifications and industry standards.3. Defect Management TroubleshootingConduct real-time inspections on the production floor.Identify glove-related defects (e.g., misalignment, poor stitching, puckering).Work with production teams to resolve quality issues and reduce rework rates.4. Team Leadership DevelopmentLead, train, and supervise quality inspectors across all shifts.Conduct regular QC training for QA and production staff.Cultivate a culture of quality and accountability.5. Continuous Improvement EfficiencyLead Kaizen-style initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality.Suggest equipment upgrades (e.g., presser feet, trimming tools, edge folders) to improve consistency.Monitor glove dimensions, finish, and appearance against brand standards.6. Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with RD and Merchandising teams on new product development.Coordinate with maintenance teams for calibration and repairs impacting quality.Qualifications Experience Education:Bachelors in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (preferably with a Quality specialization).Experience:3-5 years of hands-on quality control experience in garment or glove manufacturing (performance/equestrian gloves preferred).Deep understanding of glove production, construction, and common quality challenges.Skills Competencies:Proficient in QMS tools like 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagrams.Skilled in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP/production tracking tools.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
