Position: Settlement Officer- 1 LinkJob Purpose:To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant settlement of 1Link interbank ATM transactions, manage settlement entries, and coordinate with internal teams and 1Link in accordance with SBP regulations and bank policies.Qualifications Experience:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.13 years of experience in bank settlements, payments operations, or ATM/card operations.Practical knowledge of 1Link settlement processes is preferred.Familiarity with interbank payment systems and settlement cycles.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessdaily 1Link settlement files for ATM transactions (Issuer / Acquirer).Ensure timely settlement of On-us and Off-us transactions through designated settlement accounts.Post and verify settlement entries in GL and core banking systems.Monitor settlement accounts and identify short/excess settlements.Coordinate with 1Link and member banks for settlement discrepancies.Maintain proper settlement records, confirmations, and supporting documents.Prepare daily and monthly settlement reports for management.Ensure settlements are completed within cut-off timelines.Support reconciliation teams by providing settlement data and confirmations.Ensure compliance with SBP, internal controls, and audit requirements.Assist in internal and external audits related to settlements.Escalate settlement delays or irregularities to the Team Lead promptly.
